Lions Clubs International focuses on eight global causes

Lions support children and families affected by cancer through fundraising, hospital partnerships, and programs that improve the quality of life for pediatric patients and survivors. 

Efforts include raising awareness, organizing screenings, supporting diabetes camps for youth, and promoting healthy lifestyles to prevent and manage diabetes. 

Projects focus on environmental sustainability, such as tree planting, recycling campaigns, clean-up initiatives, and environmental education to protect and restore ecosystems. 

Through the Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF), Lions address urgent global humanitarian needs, supporting communities in crisis and promoting social welfare. 

Inspired by Helen Keller, Lions aim to prevent avoidable blindness, restore sight, provide vision screenings, eyeglasses, and support for visually impaired individuals, including eye-banking programs. 

Lions support youth development through leadership programs, mentorship, and initiatives with Leos (the youth branch of Lions) to nurture the next generation.
